History of Success

Faucher Industries is undeniably one of Canada's oldest success stories. After all, it is the nation's premier supplier of transportation and industrial hardware.

Established in 1849, the company began as a blacksmith's shop where founder Olivier Faucher shaped metal products and supplied wheel spokes, rims, hubs and other hardware to carriage manufacturers. Known for quality products and customer focus from the outset, Faucher Industries grew and prospered under the capable management of the Faucher family.

In the early 1930s, Faucher & Son, by then a corporation of considerable renown controlled by the Roy family, expanded into truck body hardware. The company continued to flourish and, in 1949, celebrated its first 100 years of success.

Faucher Industries was acquired by a holding company in 1982, following which the customer base and product lines were successfully expanded to include the industrial sector.

Building upon a solid reputation as a supplier of superior quality products, Faucher Industries has devoted the latter half of the 20th century to consolidating activities across the country. Today the company provides coast-to-coast service to a long list of respected customers from six business centres and warehouses strategically located in Montréal, Saint-Georges, Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver and in United States.
